Terms of Service

Effective 1 July 2026 · Last updated 1 July 2026

These terms govern your use of MCP Wave's hosted Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors (the "Service"). By connecting the Service to a Google account or an AI assistant, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

The Service lets an AI assistant you authorize perform actions on services you connect, such as your Gmail account. You control which accounts are connected and which actions are permitted, including which recipients the assistant may send mail to. Actions are performed at your direction.

2. Your account and eligibility

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms.

4. Your data

Our handling of your data — including Google user data — is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. You retain all rights to your own content; we claim no ownership of it.

5. Actions taken on your behalf

The Service can modify your mailbox — creating and sending mail, applying labels, archiving, moving mail to Trash, permanently deleting mail, and creating filters. Safeguards exist (sending is restricted to recipients you approve, and permanent deletion requires confirmation), but you are responsible for the instructions you give and their consequences. Review drafts before sending and confirm destructive actions carefully.

6. Availability and changes

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it, and we may modify these terms; material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

7. Third-party services

The Service depends on third parties, including Google and the operator of the AI assistant you connect. Their availability, terms, and data practices are outside our control, and their terms apply to your use of them.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that any action taken by an AI assistant will be correct or appropriate.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MCP WAVE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, MAIL, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR USD $100.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold MCP Wave harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by disconnecting it and revoking access in your Google Account permissions. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms or to protect the Service or its users. On termination we delete your stored authorization and connection settings as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in Colorado have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
